Old Post Office Event Center

This last Saturday on 10/8/16 we celebrated with John and Audrey there friends and family. This was our first non corporate event in the Old Post Office since Bashar did his massive remodel. He took something with rich history in our community and mixed modern with historic perfectly. Saturday was a great change of pace for us it was very family oriented small and elegant. So we didn't need a huge sound system or even a large light show. Instead we went with something very simple two moving heads on truss with 12 up lights around the room. The first family member I meet was Owen Audrey's father and boy what a hoot he is. I really liked him and his personality and not just because he lives in my cardinals home town of St. Louis.

The bride groom and bridal party came next and the decide to go with a simple introduction of signed sealed delivered which was perfect for them! Once seated it was time for Owens welcome! Well that took long enough as he was very well spoken and definitely was prepared with pages of notes. Yes I did have to change batteries after his speech.

​Next up was dinner and Boy oh Boy I cannot say enough about Just Rennies catering. In twenty years hands down the best food I've had at a wedding! They just had there 13th anniversary of being in business and with food like I had there is several more years for sure with them!

It was now time for the dancing portion! Once through all the formal dances. They all held up to the family atmosphere I so desperately needed and stayed out on the floor till the bride and groom were ready to make there exit. So between all the different vendors and a great couple with a awesome family. This was a much needed wedding before we kick it into high gear starting this week for the next two months.
